At The Eye Care Group, we believe that early detection optimizes patient outcomes. In addition to providing our patients with the highest quality eye care, we offer the latest in imaging technology to provide detailed information about the structure of the eye to help guide diagnosis and treatment. Treatment options that you and your ophthalmologist may discuss include observation, medical management, laser treatments, intravitreal injections, and retinal surgery.
On your initial visit, expect a thorough dilated retinal examination. Your ophthalmologist may also recommend that you undergo special testing, such as fundus photography, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), or fluorescein angiography. Therefore, we recommend that you plan on an appointment length of approximately two hours. Please plan on arriving either 15 minutes early or complete the registration form prior to your appointment. Visit our Patient Education page and our Procedures page to learn more about vitreoretinal conditions and the procedures in which we specialize. You may also visit our Clinical Studies page to learn more about opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research at our practice.
