In addition to practicing
ophthalmology, Dr. Covey
enjoys photography,
theater and traveling.
Dr. Covey is married and has
one daughter.
Dr. Cinthia Guzman Covey is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in the management of cataracts, glaucoma and pediatric disorders. She received her undergraduate degree with the highest honors in her major from Harvard University. She then completed her medical education at the Yale University School of Medicine where she was selected to participate in the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, recognizing her as one of the top members of her class. She completed her ophthalmology residency training at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Covey has presented scientific research projects at the prestigious Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Covey is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is fluent in Spanish.
